One of six speakers selected from 150 students. Spoke to an audience of about 100 at TEDxJPS on how tutoring Ukrainians changed my perspective; the only JPS talk published on the TEDx Talks YouTube channel.

Sole Opinion Section editor. Manage a team of five opinion writers, enforce deadlines, and review every article that runs; this year, eight op-eds reaching 2,600 digital readers. We research socioeconomic issues and then write our opinions which our readers are free to agree or disagree.
Arts High Creative Writing Program

Four consecutive years in the district-sponsored creative writing program. Alongside it I keep a personal blog of memoirs, haikus, and non-fiction.
Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
2024–26
One Gold Key in 2026; one Gold Key and two Silver Keys in 2025; one Honorable Mention in 2024, all for memoir.
Debate
Varsity Public Forum, 2022–present.
Roughly three hours a week researching and analysing 1,000+ pages a season on international relations, economics, and philosophy — then case writing, practice rounds, and tournament prep. Competed at national tournaments like TOC, Harvard, Stanford, and Michigan.
